1. Go solo until forced to team - Do not - I repeat: DO NOT - Rush to the office as soon as you spawn, wait until the hosts have been chosen, and until they have been chosen, AVOID ALL PLAYERS.

2. When at the office, at 1:20, look around. If there are a lot of low ranks, or if it is crowded, CAREFULLY, sprint to the elevator and lock yourself in there, because chances are there will be the one idiot who stands next to the window and ruins it for everyone.

3. DO NOT unlock the safe room AT ALL If you are in the elevator and your team mate runs up to the bars wanting in, DO NOT LET HIM IN. The following will likely happen:

a. A zombie will run in with him

b. He will stand next to the bars and get you infected.

4. DO NOT go "Zombie hunting" if there are more than one zombie. If there is one left, go hunt him, but if he infects another person before you find him, GET BACK TO YOUR POSITIONS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO HUNT THEM BOTH.

5. FIND YOUR ROUTE. After the humans fail at the office, the map will be over run with zombies. This is when finding a route works well. You need to find a route to run along, and try to fool zombies and lose them, then quickly find a spot to hide/camp.

Gear:

Speed gear is ESSENTIAL in quarantine mode. If you are the idiot running around in a tanker vest with a Mk. 48 out, YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE.

I do NOT recommend MGs at all. I recommend guns with high portability (ARs, SMGS). You need a FAST pistol like the G23, not those hand cannons.

If you do not have a specialist, buy an advanced backpack and stuff it with either extra grenades + RPG, or RPG+Law. This way, you save money. 3 extra slots is really not necessary.

Also, I really, REALLY, recommend a full-auto shotgun. I personally have an M4 super 90. The kick back it has on zombies is insane, and will come in handy.

DO NOT. I repeat - DO NOT - use extended mags on ANYTHING. If you do, you will find yourself infected while reloading. 30 round magazines are fine.
